Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ability to synthesize user, technical and design requirements into highly usable applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, documented code using best engineering practices in the industry (design patterns, TDD, peer review, CI/CD, automated testing etc.).
  • Set standards for the team, participate in code reviews, and define and refine our team’s process to continuously promote Quality First Time.
  • As part of DevOps team model, the candidate is expected to diagnose and fix issues in existing application

 

Must Have Skills:

  • 12+ years of solid and legit hands-on technology experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Excellent Core Java skills such as OOPs, multi-threading, exception handling, API design, with particular focus on Spring framework.
  • Strong hands-on development experience of Single Page Applications using Angular framework with a deep understanding writing maintainable code using MV-VM/MVC architecture.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining databases such as MySQL or Oracle and developing web scale applications using high level ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Experience with consuming as well as developing webservices, using architectural patterns such as REST or SOAP, which are intuitive and a delight to work with.
  • Expertise with using CI/CD development best practices.
  • Experience with containerization and developing for Cloud infrastructure platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • Experience developing for and deploying to public cloud providers such as AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure.
  • Knowledge and or experience in Cisco Collaboration products and APIs (AXL, SXML, WebEx).
  • Experience in no-SQL data stores such as MongoDB/Redis
  • Experience in additional languages such as PHP / Python / Go / JavaScript is a plus.
  • Experience working in an environment that includes a variety of middleware and backend web technologies such as Java, Python, PHP, LDAP, HTTP a plus.
  • Experience with messaging frameworks (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Experience with application and service monitoring tools and techniques

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a scientific discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc
  • Healthcare or technology related field
  • 4+ years of combined early or late-stage DM experience

 

Job description

  • The Clinical Data Manger is Responsible for collecting data from clinical trials created for pharmaceuticals, biologics, or devices.
  • Ensures data collected is accurate, groups data properly, solves operational problems, and prepares statistical reports.
  • Work with complex computerized records systems and maintain security and integrity. Collect data from clinical trials.
  • Design and review patient Case Report Forms (CRFs) and database schema
  • Sort information and then ensure it’s screened, grouped, summarized, transcribed, coded.
  • Consult with other employees to solve operational or data problems. Provide clerical duties such as data entry, transcription, coding, and collating searches.
  • Prioritize work in line with project management decisions.
  • Manage clinical trials through review, computerization, cleaning and auditing of clinical data and databases in compliance with standard operating procedures, client guidelines and regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Validate clinical trial data to ensure consistency, integrity and accuracy based on project specific guidelines.
  • Generate data retrievals and summaries. Query data inconsistencies and revise case report forms in compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Review case report forms for completeness and consistency.
  • Implement strategy for data cleaning and the design and programming of clinical databases.
  • Review and approve design, data review ground rules and database design according to Standard Operating procedures and protocol.
  • Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) for the study-specific EDC and DM Portal databases
  • Attendance to weekly ClinOps meetings to represent and present the individual and program level (as appliable) DM status (including updating slides for these meetings)
  • Escalation of site issues that have not been resolved to the ClinOps team, or other team member as appropriate
  • Responsible to ensure all DM activities for a study are conducted according to applicable SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs)
  • Responsible to file all DM documents in the eTMF for responsible studies
